. The treatment of maladjusted children is essential work in the mental health field since it may ^ell prevent serious disturbance in the adult. It is also important because it relieves the strain felt by the whole family who frequently suffer with the disturbed child. Together with other forms of menhealth services for children it should be conSldered as an investment for the future health of community.
